USB-UART von ArkMicroChips unter Linux
Da dieses Gerät nicht automatisch erkannt und das passende Modul geladen wird, muß man sich hier selbst weiterhelfen.

Modul usbserial laden:modprobe usbserial vendor=0x6547 product=0x0232
Damit wird dann unter /dev/ttyUSB0
ein Device-Node erstellt.

Das kann irgendwas zum Thema Unix sein, Elektronik, Microcontroller, mein Studium, Lustiges, dsa kommende Kind oder etwas das mich aufregt. Wie das so in privaten Weblogs ist.

Hallo,
ich habe so einen Adapter und kann die angegebenen Schritte nichvollziehen, aber keine Anwendung (z.B. KPPP) will mit dem
Gerät /dev/ttyUSB0 zusammenarbeiten. Es passiert nichts oder das Programm stürtzt ab.
Hat schon jemand den Adapter am laufen?

Der ark3116 ist scheinbar nicht mit dem pl2303 kompatibel.
Aber ich habe einen bestehenden Treiber erweitert so dass er auch die baudratenauswahl
mit dem ark3116 Kabel unterstützt.

I understand that this is the wrong place to ask, but I am in trouble with a Samsung SGH330 data cable and this is the best reference I could find on the web, therefore I hope you will be willing to help a poor win user as well.
I have a data cable with an ARK Micro Chips USB to UART ctrlr (VID=6547/PID=0232) and am looking for XP drivers. Have never managed to connect the phone to the pc, have tried on and off several times in the last two years, now I do need to urgently take a pic off the phone and would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot in advance, ALberto
